na dala ng panahon,

pinipilit ibaon,
amoy at linamnam
ng mainit na tsokolate,
nakakatulong makaramdam
ng ginhawa sa kalooban.
an ally in the cold
brought about by the winter,
and the loneliness felt

the aroma and taste
of a cup of hot chocolate,
